Because LESCO bills through the shared PITC system, its peak calendar is the same as every other WAPDA company's, MEPCO and FESCO included. The window moves an hour later in June–August, when the evening demand peak itself moves later.
Does the peak rate apply to me?
Separate peak and off-peak rates apply only to connections on a time-of-use (TOU) meter — in practice residential, commercial and industrial connections with a sanctioned load of 5 kW or more. If your bill shows a single units figure, you are billed on slabs and moving your usage to another hour does not change the rate.

A TOU bill prints two readings — Peak and Off-Peak — each with its own rate. One reading means peak hours don't change your price.
How to cut the bill during peak hours
- Run the iron, washing machine and water pump before or after the peak window.
- Put the electric geyser on a timer so it heats outside peak hours.
- Pre-cool rooms before the peak starts and hold the AC at 26°C during it.
- With rooftop solar, push shiftable loads into daylight hours.

What are LESCO peak hours today?
See the live check and table above. In summer (June–August) the window is 7:00 pm–11:00 pm; in winter (December–February) it is 5:00 pm–9:00 pm.
Do peak hours apply to every consumer?
No. Only connections with a TOU meter, normally those with a sanctioned load of 5 kW or more, are billed at separate peak and off-peak rates.
Is load shedding scheduled during peak hours?
Peak hours are a billing window, not a load-shedding schedule. Load shedding is decided feeder by feeder based on losses and recovery.
