Editorial policy
Every figure on a bills site can cost someone money if it is wrong. This is how we source, check and correct what we publish.
Primary sources first
Rates and rules come from the notification or determination itself — NEPRA, OGRA, the federal gazette — not from news reports or other bill sites. Where a figure cannot be traced to a primary source, we leave it out rather than guess.
Every figure carries a date
Pages with rates show when they were last checked, and that date only moves when someone has actually re-checked the source. A date that changes on every deploy would claim a review that never happened.
Links are tested
Official portals move without notice. Links to company bill pages, complaint systems and application forms are tested, and when a company's own service is down we say so on the page and point to the alternative.
Corrections
If you find something wrong, tell us through the contact page. We correct errors as soon as they are confirmed and update the page's checked date. Significant corrections — a wrong rate, a wrong rule — are fixed in both English and Urdu at the same time.
Independence
No utility, bank or wallet pays for placement or wording on this site. Payment methods are listed because people use them, not because anyone paid to be listed.
